What a great time in Columbus ! As always, the great people are what makes a pipe show. Sure, the finest pipes and tobacco in the World are at your fingertips, but even that pales before good times over cold drinks and warm pipes.

This years show was no exception, and once again Premal Chhedas hospitality knew no bounds. After the show ended Saturday, Premal invited several dozen of us out to dinner and everyone had a great time. The GKCPC show was a fantastic event this year. The location was wonderful, the rooms at the Argosy are some of the nicest I've stayed in. The people there and the laid back vibe of the show were two fantastic reasons to return next year.

As many of you know, 2013 was a tough year here. While struggling to grow with my work and get a new business off the ground, our family suffered the loss of our Father as well as a Sister and I also lost one of my best friends all within six months of one another. To say it was quite a blow to deal with is an understatement.

Chicago 2013 is come and gone, another year until the fun begins again. This year was my first show. I want to say thanks to all the great people who stopped by my table to look at pipes, and an even bigger thanks to those who took one home !
